Pack 28's activities for the year typically include:
- Cuborama Recruitment and Field Day: an annual event open to the public where Cubs enjoy a variety of games and crafts while showing off collections of badges and awards to new recruits.
Campfire Induction Ceremony: Pack Members welcome new Cubs in an outdoor induction ceremony held around the campfire.
- Pumpkin Decorating Competition: Cubs decorate pumpkins or other harvest vegetables without carving.
Pinewood Derby: After several weeks in the wood shop, Cubs race gravity-powered, precision racecars of their own design and creation.
Our Derby Committee assures that NO ONE can enter a non-regulation car. This event is a high point of the year, though there can only be one
"Champion of the Pack". The derby features a Multi-media race presentation with electronic scoring.

- Boston Museum of Science Campout
- Blue and Gold Banquet: The annual celebration of Cub Scouting's birthday (founded in 1916) features a Pack feast, awards ceremony,
and entertainment.
- Battleship Cove Campout
- Fundraisers: Each year Pack 28 engages in several fund raising events, including BSA popcorn sales, cake sales, and raffles.
These fund raisers help support our own activities and also our charity donations.
- Charity drives
- Spring Picnic and Field Day: Our final Pack Meeting of the Year is a picnic and field day for the entire family.
Activities included games of Capture the Flag, an obstacle course, a watermelon seed spitting contest, and pie eating contests
for both kids and the adults.
- Memorial day parade: Pack 28 participates in the annual Dunstable Memorial Day Parade.
- Webelos Annual Camping Trip to the Dunstable Rural Land Trust
- Summer Fishing Derby: Our annual fishing derby encourages all family members to participate in the popular sport of fishing.
With awards for Biggest and Smallest Fish, Most Fish, Most Unusual Lure, and Best Fishing Story.
- Cub Scout Day Camp: Cubs and Adults from Pack 28 participate in our Council's summer day camp at
Camp Paul in Chelmsford, MA.
